MAŁGORZATA KACZMARSKA
was born in Kraków. In 1999, she graduated with distinction from the Department of Painting at the Kraków Academy of Fine Arts. Between 1999-2000, she lived and worked in Spain, on a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and Art. In 2007, she obtained her PhD from the Department of Painting at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, with professor Jacek Waltoś as her mentor; in 2015, she obtained the associate professor rank. She is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (ZPAP), the Grupa20minut (“20 minutes” movement) and SPACE Start collective. She is living and working in Kraków.

Grupa20minut
Grupa20minut (“20 minutes” movement) was established in 2010 by Katarzyna Godyń-Skoczylas, Małgorzata Kaczmarska and Elżbieta Sowa.
Group name refers to the prediction of Andy Warhol providing that modern times will enable each person 15 minutes of fame and the ability to concentrate and "active vision" of man.
They regularly present tohether their works on similar subjects as well as videos that they create together.
