MAŁGORZATA KACZMARSKA

Artist dealing with painting and experimenting with video and installation media, also intermedia projects. The key motif of her creativity is man and his relationship with the environment. Born in Kraków, she graduated with honours from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków; she is Associate Professor (Post-doctoral degree), PhD in Fine Arts. Scholarship holder of the Ministerio Español de Asuntos Exteriores (creative scholarship in Spain) and Association BecomeBecome (artistic residence "Island of Consciousness" in Indonesia). Her paintings, video and digital works have been repeatedly awarded in international competitions and qualified for presentations. She exhibited her creative achievements at numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad (Croatia, Great Britain, Indonesia, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Ukraine). Associated with academic community - she teaches in Poland and abroad. She often writes about art, and her texts are published in industry magazines. She is a member of the Polish Artists' Association (ZPAP), artistic group20minutes and SPACE Start collective.
