HUBBUB

The installation is composed of 4 sets of works, each consisting of 16 images. Composition of the independent paintings, allowing new interpretations of specific spaces, can be changed as needed. Each version is as good as any other.

I sook to represent visiual chaos, the hubbub, through artistic interpretation of selected spaces that have an especially irritating effect on my sense of sight: the beach filled with people, the freshly harvested field, the city, and also the state of silence.

Spaces with an especially irritating effect on my sense of sight became an inspiration to a painted story of hubbub. In each case, the irritating stimuli have a different character. I interpreted spaces of the beach, the field, the city, and the state of silence. While transforming my visual impressions, I applied different, consciously chosen painting conventions that arise from perceiving such different realities.
